Lehigh Valley, PA – The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, have recalled from loan goaltender Martin Ouellette from the Reading Royals of the ECHL.

JustSports PhotographyA 24-year-old netminder from Saint-Hippolyte, Quebec, Ouellette is in his second professional season and has compiled a 3-4 overall mark in 11 career appearances with the Phantoms to go along with a 3.34 goals-against average and .885 save percentage.

In 26 games with Reading this year, the 6’1″, 184-pound goaltender has produced a 13-9-3 record, 2.24 goals-against average and .916 save percentage.

With standings points in four straight games (2-0-2) and 10 of their last 14 outings overall, the red-hot Phantoms return to action at PPL Center tonight, Saturday, February 27 when they welcome the Utica Comets, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, to downtown Allentown for the final time this year. In the midst of their 20th season of operation, the Phantoms are coming off their Inaugural Season as the Lehigh Valley Phantoms playing at the brand-new PPL Center. Established in 1996, the Phantoms spent their first 13 seasons at the Spectrum in Philadelphia before re-locating to Glens Falls, New York in 2009 where the team spent the next five seasons as the Adirondack Phantoms. A new era of Phantoms hockey began in the fall of 2014 when the Lehigh Valley Phantoms began play at the state-of-the-art PPL Center. Through 19 incredibly successful campaigns, the Phantoms have captured two Calder Cup Championships (1998, 2005), two Conference Championships (1998, 2005), two Regular Season Titles (1996-97, 1997-98) and four Division Championships (1996-97, 1997-98, 1998-99, 2003-04).
