Flyers Loan F Mikhail Vorobyev to Phantoms

Phantoms Begin Home-and-Home Series with Hershey Tonight

The Philadelphia Flyers, parent club of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, announced today that they have loaned forward Mikhail Vorobyev to the Phantoms.

A native of Ufa, Russia, Vorobyev is currently in the midst of his second professional season in North America and has already amassed six goals and 16 assists for a total of 22 points across 32 contests with the Phantoms this season.  Overall, Vorobyev has played 90 games for Lehigh Valley and has a total of 51 points (15G-36A).

The 2015 fourth-round draft selection (104th overall) of the Philadelphia Flyers was recalled on January 27, and has now appeared in 15 games with Philadelphia this season, most recently against the Pittsburgh Penguins on February 11.  Over the course of those 15 tilts, he currently has a goal and an assist.
