Phantoms Return to PPL Center This Saturday vs. Syracuse

Lehigh Valley, PA – The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, have recalled from loan forward Steven Swavely from the Reading Royals of the ECHL.
A 26-year-old forward from Reading, Pennsylvania, Swavely is in the midst of his second professional season and has tallied five goals, eight assists and 13 points across 21 games with the Royals this year. The 6’1″, 190-pound center has appeared in 33 AHL outings during his pro career during which he’s compiled three goals, four points and four penalty minutes.
Before starting his professional career, Swavely completed a four-year career at the University of Maine where he recorded 33 goals, 48 assists and 81 total points across 146 games with the Black Bears.
The Phantoms are back in action tonight when they look to complete a sweep of their two-game set at the Charlotte Checkers following a 6-3 victory on Tuesday. Lehigh Valley then returns to PPL Center this Saturday, December 16 when it welcomes the Syracuse Crunch, AHL affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning, to downtown Allentown for the first and only time this season.
