Help keep everyone warm this winter by donating a new or gently-used winter coat at the 4th annual WFMZ Coat Drive, taking place at PPL Center in downtown Allentown on Friday, November 9, prior to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms game against the Springfield Thunderbirds.
Drop boxes will be set up from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the WFMZ Gate at 7th and Hamilton Street and, later in the day, WFMZ will have staff collecting coats and a drop-off lane on Hamilton Street from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. before the game. Coats will then be dry cleaned by JC Cleaners and donated to the The Salvation Army Children’s Services: Foster Care & Adoption Program and other Salvation Army programs.
Last year, we collected more than 800 coats! Help the Phantoms and 69 WFMZ-TV beat that number and help keep the Lehigh Valley warm!
