Phantoms Continue Home Stand Tonight at PPL Center
March 28, 2015
Lehigh Valley, PA – The Philadelphia Flyers, parent club of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, have reassigned defenseman Maxim Lamarche from the Reading Royals of the ECHL to Lehigh Valley. Lamarche will be available for tonight’s contest at PPL Center between the Phantoms and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
A 22-year-old defenseman from Laval, Quebec, Lamarche is in the midst of his second professional season and is Reading’s second-highest scoring defenseman having compiled 26 points (seven goals, 19 assists) in 54 games this season. This will be his third stint with the Phantoms this season as the 6’3″, 218-pound defender has recorded one assist and four penalty minutes over six prior games with Lehigh Valley this year.
Lehigh Valley continues its current home stand with two more tilts at PPL Center this weekend. The Phantoms return to action tonight, March 28th when they welcome the rival Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins back to downtown Allentown. Saturday’s game is Faith Night featuring a post-game concert with best-selling Christian rock and worship band Kutless.
The home stand then wraps up Sunday, March 29th when Lehigh Valley welcomes the AHL-leading Manchester Monarchs, AHL affiliate of the defending Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings, to PPL Center for the first and only time this season. Sunday’s game is another Legends Night as all fans in attendance will receive a FREE Collector’s Edition Poster spotlighting 1998 Calder Cup Champion and longtime Phantoms and Flyers goaltender Brian Boucher. Sunday’s contest also features a post-game skate with the Phantoms. Fans are encouraged to bring their skates to the game and take the ice with their favorite players following the conclusion of Sunday’s action.
