Goaltender Mark Dekanich Returned to Reading

Phantoms Return to PPL Center Wednesday vs. Binghamton

Lehigh Valley, Pa. – The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, have returned on loan goaltender Mark Dekanich to the Reading Royals of the ECHL.

A 30-year-old goaltender from North Vancouver, British Columbia, Dekanich is in his ninth professional season and has compiled a 10-9-1 overall record in 22 games with the Royals this season to go along with a 3.02 goals-against average and 0.907 save percentage. In 163 career AHL appearances, the 6’2″, 192-pound netminder is 92-55-13 with a 2.39 goals-against average and 0.915 save percentage.

The Phantoms are back in action at PPL Center this Wednesday, January 25 when they play their final home game before the All-Star break when they welcome former Phantoms Jason Akeson and Zack Stortini and the rival Binghamton Senators for a 7:05 p.m. showdown.
