Goaltender Anthony Stolarz Recalled By Flyers

Phantoms Can Clinch Playoff Berth Tonight at PPL Center

Lehigh Valley, PA – The Philadelphia Flyers, parent club of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, have recalled from loan goaltender Anthony Stolarz.

A 23-year-old netminder from Jackson, New Jersey, Stolarz is in the midst of his third professional campaign and has produced an 18-9 overall record in 28 appearances with Lehigh Valley this year to go along with a 2.92 goals-against average and 0.911 save percentage. In three seasons with the Phantoms, he’s amassed a 48-40-11 mark overall along with three shutouts, a 2.88 goals-against average and 0.911 save percentage.

The Phantoms continue their push towards the 2017 Calder Cup Playoffs tonight as they welcome the Springfield Thunderbirds, AHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers, to downtown Allentown. Lehigh Valley can clinch a berth in the 2017 Calder Cup Playoffs with a win tonight coupled with a regulation loss by the Hershey Bears in their showdown at the Toronto Marlies.

Tonight’s game features a Phantoms Wall Cling Giveaway free to the first 2,500 kids 14 and under presented by PSECU. This evening is also the annual Canned Food Drive presented by Giant Food Stores with all donations going to the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley.
