Phantoms Return Home to PPL Center for Boy Scout Night This Saturday

Lehigh Valley, PA – The Philadelphia Flyers, parent club of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, have announced that forwards Roman Lyubimov and Scott Laughton have been loaned to the Phantoms.
A 24-year-old forward from Tver, Russia, Lyubimov is in the midst of his first professional season playing in North America and has tallied one goal in 11 games with the Flyers this year. He spent the past six seasons playing with CSKA Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) where he compiled 15 goals and 34 points across 185 total games.
A 22-year-old forward from Oakville, Ontario, Laughton is coming off a two-game stint with the Phantoms while on a conditioning loan in which he notched a goal and an assist in a pair of games last weekend. A first-round selection (#20 overall) by Philadelphia in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, he spent last year with the Flyers where he registered seven goals, 14 assists and 21 points in 71 total games.
The Phantoms are back in action this Friday, November 11 when the team heads up to Utica for its first showdown of the year with the Comets. Lehigh Valley is then back at PPL Center on Saturday, November 12 for Boy Scout Night when the Toronto Marlies make their first and only stop of the season in downtown Allentown. The Phantoms are coming off their 20th Anniversary Season and second campaign in the Lehigh Valley playing at the state-of-the-art PPL Center. Established in 1996, the Phantoms spent their first 13 seasons at the Spectrum in Philadelphia before re-locating to Glens Falls, New York in 2009 where the team spent the next five seasons as the Adirondack Phantoms.
