Defensemen Jesper Pettersson and Maxim Lamarche Returned to Lehigh Valley

Phantoms Continue Home Stand Wednesday vs. Syracuse

Lehigh Valley, PA – The Philadelphia Flyers, parent club of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, have reassigned defenseman Jesper Pettersson from the Reading Royals of the ECHL to Lehigh Valley. In addition, the Phantoms have recalled from loan defenseman Maxim Lamarche from Reading as well.

A 22-year-old blueliner from Stockholm, Sweden, Pettersson is in the midst of his third professional season and has recorded four goals, 17 assists and 21 total points in 50 games with the Royals this year. A seventh-round selection (#198 overall) by Philadelphia in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, he’s appeared in 75 career games with the Phantoms during which he’s registered three goals, seven assists, 10 points and 47 penalty minutes.

A 24-year-old defenseman from Laval, Quebec, Lamarche is currently in his fourth professional campaign and has spent time this season in both Lehigh Valley (13 games, 2 goals, 4 assists, 6 goals) and Reading (26 games, 1 goal, 11 assists, 12 points). In 61 career AHL outings with the Phantoms, the 6’3″, 217-pound blueliner has compiled 3 goals, 11 assists, 14 points and 42 penalty minutes.

The Phantoms are back in action at PPL Center this Wednesday, March 15 when they welcome the Syracuse Crunch to downtown Allentown for the first and only time this season. A limited number of tickets remain for Wednesday’s tilt and can be purchased online HERE.
