D Samuel Morin Loaned to Phantoms

Phantoms Welcome Rival WB/Scranton Penguins This Saturday at PPL Center

Lehigh Valley, PA – The Philadelphia Flyers, parent club of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, have loaned defenseman Samuel Morin to the Phantoms.

A 22-year-old blueliner from Lac-Beauport, Quebec, Morin is in the midst of his third professional season and is coming off a year in which he recorded three goals, 13 assists, 16 points and 129 penalty minutes in 74 games with Lehigh Valley. In 130 career games with the Phantoms, the 6’6″, 202-pound defender has compiled seven goals, 35 points and 247 penalty minutes.

A first-round selection (#11 overall) by Philadelphia in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, Morin made his NHL debut on April 4, 2017 in a 1-0 overtime setback at the New Jersey Devils.

The Phantoms return to PPL Center this Saturday, October 14 when they welcome the rival Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to downtown Allentown.
