Free Shirt Nights Highlight Phantoms Jam-Packed Promotional Schedule!

Skates With Team and Team Autograph Session Also Featured This Year!

November 13, 2014

Lehigh Valley, PA – Fans will have a Phantoms shirt for just about every day of the week by the time the season is over.

That’s because the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, will give away free shirts to every fan in attendance at five home games throughout the remainder of the 2014-2015 season.

“What’s better than coming to a hockey game and getting a free shirt?” said Phantoms executive vice president Chris Porreca. “Each and every fan in attendance on those nights will receive a free shirt and the shirts will be a different fun and unique design over the five games. When all of our fans have their orange shirts on it will give us one of the best home-ice advantages in the league.”

Phantoms_Movember_T-ShirtAfter giving each fan in attendance an Opening Night shirt on October 17, the Phantoms will provide free shirts to all fans in attendance at each of the following five games this season:

  • Friday, November 21
  • Friday, December 19
  • Saturday, January 24
  • Friday, March 6
  • Friday, April 10

But that’s just the beginning. The Phantoms will also be hosting a special “Go Birds” Tailgate on Saturday, December 13 to support the incredible success the Philadelphia Eagles have enjoyed so far this season and to cheer the team on toward a long and prosperous playoff run. The special night will feature Philadelphia Eagles legend and four-time Pro Bowler Jeremiah Trotter along with NFL Network’s Brian Baldinger and the Eagles Cheerleaders.

And Phantoms fans won’t just have the opportunity to interact with stars of the gridiron. They’ll also be able to interact up close and in person with the stars of their hometown team.

First, Lehigh Valley will host Team Autograph Night on Saturday, November 29 where fans will have the opportunity to collect autographs directly from their favorite players on a FREE team poster. Then, on Saturday, December 27, fans will have the chance to take pictures directly on the ice with Phantoms players following the team’s showdown with the Norfolk Admirals. Finally, the Phantoms will host a pair of post-game skates with the team on Wednesday, February 4 and Sunday, March 29 where fans can take to the ice alongside their hometown team.

Believe it or not, the Phantoms giveaways for the 2014-2015 season go far beyond five nights of free shirts.

Another highlight of this year’s promotional calendar is the giveaways for the youth of the Lehigh Valley. On Friday, January 30, in conjunction with meLVin’s Birthday Bash, the first 3,000 kids ages 14 and under will all receive a FREE youth jersey while on Sunday, March 22, all kids 14 and under will receive a FREE youth street hockey stick.

And the giveaways don’t stop there.

When Lehigh Valley returns to PPL Center this Saturday, every fan in attendance will receive a FREE magnet schedule. Tickets for this weekend’s clash with the Toronto Marlies are available now at the Mealey’s Furniture Box Office at PPL Center (701 Hamilton), by calling 610-347-TIXX (8499) or online at pplcenter.com.

Then, on Friday, February 13, every fan in attendance receives a FREE Phantoms hat.

Finally, another tremendous highlight of Lehigh Valley’s promotional schedule is the team’s Legends Nights where fans will have the opportunity to see a host of Phantoms legends up close and in person.
