Two Hat Giveaways, Return of White Out and Black Out Games Revealed

Lehigh Valley, PA – The Lehigh Valley Phantoms are excited to announce two winter hat giveaways have been added to the promotional schedule. One hat will accompany the return of the team’s “White Out” and “Black Out” theme nights for the 2023-24 season, while the other is the fan-favorite meLVin youth hat giveaway.
Saturday, December 30th as the Phantoms take on the Hershey Bears (7:05), the first 5,000 lucky fans in attendance will now be able to take home an adult knit hat brought to you by founding partner The Morning Call.
Additionally, the first 2,000 fans aged 14 and under will receive a meLVin youth winter hat presented by Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital when team hosts the Toronto Marlies on Saturday, January 27th (7:05).
The new giveaway items come as the team has revealed it will be bringing back the White Out and Black Out alternate uniforms for four games each (eight total) throughout the remainder of the regular season. The uniforms, which debuted last season, feature all-white and all-black designs with orange accents on the socks, pants, numbers, and crest.
The Phantoms will take to the ice sporting the crisp all-white look during the aforementioned December 30th and January 27th contests, as well as March 3rd for meLVin’s Birthday and March 24th for Kids Takeover.
Meanwhile, the sleek all-black uniforms can be seen during games on February 3rd (10th Anniversary Weekend), February 17th (Youth Jersey Giveaway Presented by Velaspan/SECTV), March 8th, and April 13th (Hockey Fiesta Night).
Fans attending White Out and Black Out-themed games are encouraged to do their part by dressing accordingly in order to help create a unique home-ice advantage by painting PPL Center in a sea of white or black to match the team.
