Two forwards loaned to Reading of the ECHL

Lehigh Valley, Pa. – The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, announced today that they have loaned forwards Alex Krushelnyski and Mike Huntebrinker to the Reading Royals of the ECHL.
Krushelnyski, 28, has appeared in 20 games for Lehigh Valley this season, notching two assists. Overall, Krushelnski has played 57 games for the Phantoms, scoring three goals and eight assists for 11 points. He also played 10 playoff games last season, notching four points (2g, 2a) and was the overtime hero in the historic 5-overtime 2-1 victory in Game 4 against the Charlotte Checkers.
A native of Los Angeles, California, Krushelnyski is in his fifth year as a pro, splitting time between the AHL and ECHL. He has played 106 games in the AHL, spending time with the Norfolk Admirals, Hartford Wolf Pack, Binghamton Senators, and Lehigh Valley. He has totaled 181 points on 69 goals and 112 assists in 188 ECHL games with the Utah Grizzlies, Wichita Thunder, Allen Americans, and Reading Royals. He is a two-time ECHL All-Star, making the team in 2015 and 2018.
Huntebrinker, 26, has played 21 games for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms this season after making his AHL debut on December 14, 2018. He scored two goals, including his first AHL goal in Wilkes-Barre on January 21. Huntebrinker scored the shootout winner in his first AHL shootout attempt on January 19 against the Rochester Americans.
A native of Chesterfield, Missouri, Huntebrinker has played 93 games for the Reading Royals over parts of the last three years. He has totaled 69 points on 31 goals and 38 assists with the Royals, including 25 points (11g, 14a) in 20 games this season prior to being recalled by the Phantoms on December 10.
