Six More Added to Phantoms

More Players on the Way as Training Camp Continues

The Philadelphia Flyers today reduced their Training Camp roster, with six players joining the Lehigh Valley Phantoms while an additional six players were placed on waivers, according to General Manager Daniel Briere.

Updated Phantoms Training Camp Roster

The following six players have been assigned to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms:
F – Noah Powell
F – Riley Thompson
D – Spencer Gill
D – Hunter McDonald
D – Ty Murchison
G – Carson Bjarnason

The following six players have been placed on waivers and can be eligible to join the Phantoms upon clearing:
F – Zach Aston-Reese
F – Nolan Foote
F – Carl Grundstrom
F – Danila Klimovich
F – Jack Studnicka
D – Cam Dineen

Lehigh Valley’s current roster stands at 32 players. That number could increase on Thursday with the possible additions of any players who clear waivers and are assigned to the Phantoms.

The Phantoms will play three preseason games, including two at home. The exhibition schedule begins on the road on Friday, September 25 at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

The Phantoms debut at PPL Center on Saturday, September 26 against the Hershey Bears and will conclude the preseason schedule on Tuesday, September 29 hosting the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

Opening Night for the 2026-27 regular season is Saturday, October 3 against the Hartford Wolf Pack. The debut contest will feature rally towels and schedule posters for the fans.
