The Philadelphia Flyers have announced their roster for the 2026 Rookie Series at PPL Center and schedule for their Rookie Camp, according to General Manager Daniel Briere.

Denver Barkey, Alex Bump and Porter Martone will arrive to the Lehigh Valley that weekend fresh off their impactful debut seasons and successful Stanley Cup Playoff contributions with the Philadelphia Flyers. The team comprised of 27 exciting, young prospects will also include 2026 first-round selection Maksim Sokolovskii who will be making his Rookie Series debut.

This year’s Rookie Series roster consists of 16 forwards, eight defensemen, and three goaltenders, featuring a mix of recent Phantoms standouts, players who have already reached the NHL, and several of Philadelphia’s newest draft selections.

Leading the way is Porter Martone, who quickly established himself as one of the most exciting young players in the Flyers organization last season.

After recording 50 points (25g, 25a) in 35 games during his freshman season at Michigan State University, the sixth-overall selection in the 2025 NHL Draft signed with Philadelphia and made an immediate impact. Martone produced 10 points in his first nine NHL games before adding five points during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, including game-winning goals in each of the first two games of Philadelphia’s First Round series against Pittsburgh.

Martone will be joined by several familiar names for Phantoms fans, including Alex Bump, Denver Barkey, and Oliver Bonk, all of whom spent time in Lehigh Valley before earning opportunities with the Flyers last season.

Bump recorded 26 points (11g, 15a) in 36 games with the Phantoms before adding nine points in his first 17 NHL games. He also scored twice during Philadelphia’s playoff run.

Barkey emerged as one of Lehigh Valley’s top rookies and earned an AHL All-Star selection before receiving his NHL promotion, while Bonk recorded 19 points in 46 games on the Phantoms blue line before making his NHL debut.

Several other players participating in Rookie Camp could become familiar faces in Lehigh Valley during the upcoming 2026-27 campaign, including forwards Alex Ciernik, Cole Knuble, Noah Powell, and Riley Thompson.

Fans will also get their first opportunity to see much of the Flyers’ 2026 NHL Draft class in action.

Philadelphia’s newest first-round pick, defenseman Maksim Sokolovskii, headlines that group. The 27th-overall selection stands 6-foot-7 and 238 pounds and spent last season with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League.

Second-round selection Brek Liske arrives in Allentown fresh off a championship season with the Everett Silvertips. Liske registered 17 points (4-13-17) in 18 postseason games while helping Everett capture the WHL Championship and advance to the Memorial Cup.

The Rookie Series will carry some added significance for Liske, who grew up a Flyers fan and will now have his first opportunity to wear the Orange and Black in game action as one of the organization’s newest prospects.

The Flyers roster includes a Rookie Series record four first-round selections: Oliver Bonk, Jett Luchanko, Porter Martone, and Maksim Sokolovskii.

12 players have appeared for the Phantoms last season or the season before while seven players have suited up for the Flyers: Denver Barkey, Oliver Bonk, Alex Bump, Devin Kaplan, Jett Luchanko, Ty Murchison, and Porter Martone.

Five members of the 2026 Draft Class will be making their debuts: Brek Liske, , K.J. Sauer, Martin Psohlavec, Marek Sklenicka, and Maksim Sokolovskii.

Tickets for the return of hockey at the Flyers vs. Rangers Rookie Series are on sale now at PPLCenter.com and at Ticketmaster.

Saturday, September 12 at 7:05 p.m.

Sunday, September 13 at 5:05 p.m.
