Phantoms Announce First Look at Promotional Schedule

New Theme Nights, Exclusive Giveaways, and Fan-Favorite Traditions Set for 2026-27 Season

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms are bringing a full lineup of new theme night experiences, exclusive giveaways, and fan-favorite traditions to PPL Center as the team unveils the first look at its promotional schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

Secure your seats NOW for some of the season’s can’t-miss promotional offerings, only available in advance through a Phantoms Premier Membership or Partial Plan Package before single-game tickets go on sale to the public on Tuesday, September 1.

It all kicks off on Saturday, October 3 for Opening Night when the Phantoms take the ice against the Hartford Wolf Pack. All fans in attendance will receive an Opening Night Rally Towel and 2026-27 Schedule Poster as the Phantoms begin their 13th season in downtown Allentown.

Then, get ready to scream “Wackadoo!” as beloved children’s television characters Bluey and Bingo bring the fun to PPL Center for the first-ever Bluey Day on Sunday, October 11! Get ready for an afternoon packed with Keepy Uppy, Dance Mode, and a gameday adventure filled with plenty of Bluey-inspired activities that’s sure to be “for real life!”

The October action continues with a weekend of back-to-back fan favorites, beginning on Saturday, October 24, when the first 5,000 fans will take home a Phantoms Ball Cap presented by Service Electric TV.

Sunday, October 25 brings the return of the award-winning Phan Con, featuring a third consecutive season of vibrant pop culture festivities packed with costumes, comics, and all-around entertainment.

Halloween just got even sweeter during Haunted on Hamilton on Sunday, November 1. Children can take part in trick-or-treating on the concourse, meLVin’s on-ice costume parade, and a Souvenir Popcorn Bucket Giveaway presented by Gruber as hockey meets Halloween for an afternoon of spooky surprises.

Celebrate everyone’s favorite puck-nosed pladottle by enjoying $3 Popcorn Bucket refills* on one of his favorite gameday snacks during meLVin-themed games this season, including meLVin’s Holiday Party (December 6) and meLVIn’s Birthday (February 6) and more!

Frightful fun continues on Friday, November 13, featuring a fierce “Friday the 13th” showdown as the Phantoms face the Hamilton Hammers for the first time in team history in a thrilling “Battle of the Hamiltons” matchup.

Hockey Is for Everyone gets a romantic twist with Hockey Romance Night on Saturday, November 14, as the Phantoms embrace the growing popularity of hockey romance novels and popular shows. Fans can look forward to a unique blend of hockey, literature, and gameday competition as the Phantoms put their own spin on the hockey romance phenomenon.

Get ready to go the distance with Balboa Night on Saturday, November 21, bringing the legacy of Philadelphia’s most iconic fictional hero to PPL Center for a night packed with championship spirit and underdog energy.

Start the holiday season off right during meLVin’s Holiday Party on December 6. Snap your photo with Santa Claus before the game and discover holiday magic around every corner of the concourse.

Spread the spirit of giving with the annual Teddy Bear Toss presented by Big Woody’s on Saturday, December 12, one of the most highly anticipated nights on the promotional calendar. With the help of Phan-Nation, Phantoms will look to top last season’s record-setting effort, when 12,099 stuffed animals were collected and donated to Valley Youth House in support of local children in need during the holiday season.

As winter settles into the new year, fans can bundle up with a pair of Knit Hat Giveaways for the whole family. The first 5,000 fans on Friday, February 5 will receive an Adult Knit Hat presented by United States Cold Storage, while the first 2,500 children ages 14-and-under will receive a Youth Knit Hat Giveaway presented by Jefferson Health and LVHN Reilly Children’s Hospital on Saturday, February 6, giving fans of all ages a chance to show their Phantoms pride all winter long!

Additional theme nights, including Military Appreciation Night (December 2) and Star Wars Night (April 4) will return for another season of fan-favorite traditions and new surprises in store as well.

The fun also doesn’t stop when the final horn sounds for select games, with a Post Game Skate (October 25) and Post Game Photos (December 6) presented by NJM Insurance giving fans two chances to meet their favorite Phantoms players and create unforgettable memories.

Free Hotdog Friday will highlight every Friday home game throughout the season, with all children ages 14-and-under receiving a complimentary hotdog with a ticket purchase, presented by Berks Foods.

Plus, Saturday Night Hockey Live (SNHL) is back for a sixth season, featuring live musical performances from local artists and DJs before the game and during the second intermission of every Saturday home game! This long-standing tradition transforms every game into a one-of-a-kind night of hockey, music, and nonstop entertainment in downtown Allentown.

Before the Phantoms take the ice for preseason action, hockey returns to PPL Center in September with the fifth annual Flyers vs. Rangers Rookie Series. The two-game series takes place on Saturday, September 12 at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday, September 13 at 5:05 p.m. Tickets are available now at PPLCenter.com.
