August 4, 2026
Allentown, PA – The Lehigh Valley Phantoms have signed defenseman Cooper Wylie and forward Mikael Robidoux to contracts for the 2026-27 season.
Wylie, 24, enters his first professional season following four years at St. Cloud State University where he recorded 10-25-35 in 130 career games.

Last season, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound blueliner appeared in all 36 games with the Huskies as a senior while serving as team captain. He established collegiate career highs with 11 assists and 14 points while scoring three goals, including the overtime winner just 16 seconds into a 6-5 comeback victory over Colorado College on February 13.
A native of Stillwater, Minnesota, Wylie earned NCHC Defenseman of the Week honors on January 9, 2024 and attended Philadelphia Flyers Development Camp later that summer. As a freshman in 2022-23, he helped St. Cloud State capture the program’s second NCHC Frozen Faceoff championship and advance to the NCAA Regional Final.
Prior to his collegiate career, Wylie played two seasons of junior hockey with the Waterloo Black Hawks of the USHL, totaling 8-37-45 in 99 games.
Robidoux, 27, is a physical, right-handed forward entering his seventh professional season. The veteran winger has totaled 22-33-55 with 1,048 penalty minutes across 253 career ECHL games with Maine, Kansas City, Allen, Greenville, Bloomington and Reading.

After opening the 2025-26 campaign with the Bloomington Bison, Robidoux was acquired by the Reading Royals in a trade on March 12, 2026. He contributed one goal and four assists with 28 penalty minutes in 13 regular-season games for Reading and also appeared in two Kelly Cup Playoff contests.
His 1,000th career ECHL penalty minute came on February 14, 2026, making him the 74th player in league history to reach the milestone. Robidoux previously led the ECHL with 258 penalty minutes in 42 games for the Kansas City Mavericks during the 2021-22 season.
Before turning professional, the La Prairie, Quebec spent five seasons in the QMJHL with the Quebec Remparts and Shawinigan Cataractes, recording 27-26-53 in 203 career games.
