The Phantoms have announced that four players have been reassigned to Adirondack from the Trenton Titans (ECHL). The players include three forwards and one defenseman and all have played for the Phantoms before. Forwards Shane Harper, Matt Mangene and Andrew Johnston have all played for Adirondack this year. Defenseman Tyler Hostetter joins the Phantoms for the first time this season but has played for the Phantoms for parts of the past two seasons.

Shane Harper, 23, returns to the Phantoms after a brief stay of about one week with the Titans. Harper played in three games for Trenton scoring two goals and two assists. The Valencia, California native has 3 goals in 23 games. Last year he scored 13 goals and 14 assists in 70 games with the Phantoms.

21-year-old Andrew Johnston scored 1 goal in 10 games with the Phantoms earlier this season. The rookie from Saskatoon, SK reassigned to Trenton on November 19 and played in 8 games for the Titans scoring 1 goal.

Matt Mangene, 23, registered 1 assist for the Phantoms in his 4 games before receiving an injury on October 28 at Syracuse. The University of Maine product was reassigned to Trenton on December 4 where he played in 14 games and had 6 assists. Mangene also played in 5 games for the Phantoms at the end of last year after joining the team from the Black Bears.

Defenseman Tyler Hostetter, 21, is the lone player of the group to have not skated for the Phantoms yet this season. The Lititz, PA native has played in 10 career games with the Phantoms including 7 last year and 3 the year before. This season with Trenton, Hostetter has 11 assists in 29 games. Last year for the Titans he scored 7 goals and 7 assists in 34 games. Hostetter will be wearing #4 with the Phantoms.

Adirondack is back in action this weekend with games on Friday and Saturday nights at the Binghamton Senators and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. The Phantoms return home for back-to-back Friday games on January 18 and January 25 against the Albany Devils. The January 18 game is presented by Glens Falls Plastic Surgery. The January 25 game is Pink in the Rink Night featuring pink jerseys presented by Glens Falls Hospital with a portion of the proceeds of the post-game jersey auction to benefit the C.R. Wood Cancer Center.
