The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that they have recalled nine players from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms, according to general manager Paul Holmgren.

Joining the Flyers for the playoffs are forwards Tyler Brown, Matt Ford, Ben Holmstrom, Tye McGinn and Harry Zolnierczyk; defensemen Erik Gustafsson, Oliver Lauridsen and Brandon Manning; and goaltender Michael Leighton.

The players will comprise the "Black Aces" squad with the Flyers through the playoffs. They will be ready to step in should the need require in Philadelphia's Stanley Cup Playoff run. And all of the players receive the invaluable experience of being with a team during the intensity of an NHL postseason.
