The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that they have recalled 5-11, 180-lb RW Harry Zolneirczyk and 6-1, 195-lb D Brandon Manning from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms, according to general manager Paul Holmgren.

Zolnierczyk, 24 (9/1/87), has appeared in 36 games for the Flyers this season. He has recorded three goals and two assists for five points, along with 28 penalty minutes. With the Phantoms, Zolnierczyk has seven goals and 10 assists for 17 points in 25 games.

Manning, 21 (6/4/90), receives his first NHL call-up and will wear #23. In 32 games for the Phantoms, he has four goals and five assists for nine points, along with 75 PIM. He signed with the Flyers as a free agent on November 23, 2010.

Both players join fellow recent call-ups Eric Wellwood and Erik Gustafsson who recalled by the Flyers last weekend. Sunday night, Eric Wellwood's second career NHL goal was the only one scored in the game as Philadelphia knocked off the Washington Capitals 1-0.

Other Phantoms from this season and last year who are currently up with the Flyers include Brayden Schenn, Zac Rinaldo, Tom Sestito (injured) and Matt Read.

Adirondack players who have been called up to Philadelphia earlier this season include Marc-Andre Bourdon, Ben Holmstrom, Kevin Marshall and Jason Bacashihua.

The Philaelphia Flyers are at home Thursday night hosting the Florida Panthers. The Flyers play again on Saturday night at Toronto which is Harry Zolnierczyk's hometown.

The Adirondack Phantoms return to action Friday night against the Norfolk Admirals who hold the AHL's best record and carry a 12-game win streak into the game. Saturday night, the Phantoms host the Albany Devils. Call the Phantoms for tickets at (518) 480-3355.
