| The Adirondack Phantoms
are excited to announce the return of SuperFan Cameron
Hughes to the promotional lineup for both games
this weekend. The Phantoms take on the Syracuse
Crunch this Friday and then the Toronto Marlies
on Saturday and the SuperFan will be back to lead
the cheering, do some dances, and toss around a
lot of t-shirts for the fans.
SuperFan Cameron Hughes was extremely popular and
helped create a tremendous atmosphere when he made
his Glens Falls debut in February last year. Now
he's back to have even more fun interacting with
Dax and the fans at the Civic Center all weekend
long.
The homestand gets started this Friday at 7:00
against Syracuse on Veterans Appreciation Night.
All active and retired military personnel get free
admission to the game when accompanied by a paid
admission and the Phantoms will be honoring our
nation's heroes throughout the night. The special
package for our nation's veterans can be purchased
at the Phantoms offices located downstairs in the
Glens Falls Civic Center.
Friday is also another draft-beer special game
featuring $2 Bud Light and Labatt Blue Light through
the first intermission.
Saturday begins with the third annual Guns and
Hoses game at 3:00 pitting our local police and
fire representatives in a game against the NYPD
squad traveling to Glens Falls to be a part of this
great
charity event. The proceeds from the game will go
to benefit the 35th annual South Glens Falls Marathon
Dance in early March and their efforts to raise
funds for individuals in need who are battling crippling
diseases. It's all for a great cause so come support
our local "Guns and Hoses" team as they
take on the talented NYPD team.
The Phantoms game on Saturday at 7:00 against Toronto
features the popular Youth Jersey Giveaway for the
first 1,000 kids presented by Glens Falls Hospital.
It's a big early-season homestand for the Phantoms
who are off and flying with a 7-3-1 start. Come
cheer on your hometown team....Be Here!
