The Philadelphia Flyers have loaned D Danny Syvret to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms, according to general manager Paul Holmgren.
This was Syvret's second call-up to the Flyers. He did not appear in Tuesday night's game against the Washington Capitals.
The 25 year old from Millgrove, Ontario was acquired by the Flyers organization in a late November trade with the Anaheim Ducks. Syvret and Rob Bordson came to the Philadelphia system in exchange for Patrick Maroon and David Laliberte.
Syvret has 9 goals and 31 points in 45 games this season with Adirondack. He has also played in eight games with the Syracuse Crunch recording 4 assists and 6 games with the Anaheim Ducks scoring one goal.
In 2009-10, Syvret split time between Adirondack and Philadelphia. He played 21 games with the Flyers scoring two goals and two assists.And he played 15 games with the Phantoms scoring five goals and eight assists. In 2008-09 he scored a career high 57 points including 45 assists with the Philadelphia Phantoms.
The Phantoms also announced that F Andrew Rowe has been recalled from loan in Greenville (SC) of the ECHL. Rowe has three goals and five points in seven games with the Road Warriors. This was Rowe's second stint with the Road Warriors this month and he is now eligible for the post season in Greenville.
Rowe has seven goals and 12 points in 54 games this season with Adirondack. The 23-year-old rookie out of Muskegon, Michigan scored 17 goals last season for the Michigan State Spartans.
The Phantoms road-trip continues tonight against the Norfolk Admirals at 7:15 p.m. Adirondack returns home for back-to-back games Friday and Saturday against Hershey and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
