The Adirondack Phantoms and Time Warner Cable have announced plans to televise four upcoming Phantoms games as part of their upcoming schedule. It is the first live, local AHL television package for Time Warner. All of the games will be on Time Warner Cable 3. Time Warner will also be televising the AHL All-Star Classic as well as the skills event from Hershey, Pennsylvania which will include Phantoms rookie defenseman Erik Gustafsson.
The schedule includes two broadcasts from the Glens Falls Civic Center and also two games against the Albany Devils in the Time Warner Cable Cup rivalry series. One of the home game broadcasts will be against the New York Rangers affiliate, the Connecticut Whale. The other home broadcast will be against the rival Devils.
The three-way television production partnership is an extension of already comprehensive relationships which include in-game promotions, advertising and sponsorship of the Time Warner Cable Cup. In addition to local games, Time Warner Cable Sports continues to import AHL action from out of the area including the AHL All-Star Game on Monday, January 31st from Hershey, PA.
