Glens Fals, NY - The Adirondack Phantoms have announced they have loaned goaltender Brian Stewart to the Greenville Road Warriors (SC) of the ECHL. The move comes one day after being recalled from Greenville on Sunday afternoon.
Stewart has played in three games with Greenville this season after being sent down two weeks ago going 2-1-0 with a 2.68 goals against average and a .918 saves percentage.
This year with Adirondack he has gone 0-4-0, 4.73, .846.
The Northern Michigan University product appeared in three games with the Phantoms late last season following the conclusion of his NCAA career. Stewart, 25, is a 6'4" tall netminder from Burnaby, BC.
Adirondack's next home is Saturday, December 11 against the Portland Pirates featuring the team's first annual Teddy Bear Toss. Fans get to bring their teddy bear donations for the Salvation Army to the game and throw them on the ice after the Phantoms score their first goal.
