Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Phantoms today announced its collaboration with the Greater Glens Falls Salvation Army to support the Salvation Army's various holiday season donations campaigns.
Starting this week throughout the holiday season, the Phantoms will be working with the Salvation Army on three community donation programs.
Winter Coat Donations
Bring a gently used adult winter coat to the Phantoms administrative office in the Glens Falls Civic Center and each donor will receive one free ticket for their choice of either the November 24 or November 26 Phantoms game. Adirondack Phantoms players and the Phantoms mascot, Phlex, will be deliver the donated coats to the Salvation Army on November 30 at 2:00
Holiday Food Donations
Bring a non-perishable food item to the Phantoms office or to the Civic Center box office on game nights. Each donor will receive one free ticket for their choice of either the December 15 or December 17 Phantoms game. The Salvation Army truck will be on the plaza both games to receive donations.
Angel Bear Toy Drive

"It is awesome that the Adirondack Phantoms have partnered with the Greater Glens Falls Salvation Army this holiday season” said Major David Dean, Greater Glens Falls Salvation Army Corps Commanding Officer. “The efforts of the team, management and fans will go a long way in helping us serve the anticipated 4,500 individuals over both the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. We look forward to working with them on these community focused holiday drives."
The Adirondack Phantoms also encourage everyone to support the Salvation Army this season by volunteering as bell ringers at various locations in the region. Members of the Phantoms front office will be ringing the bells at Wal-Mart in Queensbury all day Friday, November 19th.
