GLENS FALLS, NY –
Some of last year's Phantoms as well as potential
future Phantoms are ready to get started at the
Flyers' Rookie Camp at The Virtua Center Flyers
Skate Zone in Voorhees, New Jersey. The camp opens
on Monday, September 13 with 29 rookies and prospects
in attendance including seven of the 2009-2010 Phantoms.
The camp includes three days of on-ice practice
sessions and will conclude with a game between the
Flyers rookies and the Washington Capitals rookies
at 3pm on Thursday, September 16 at the Kettler
Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Virginia.
A few players who made their professional debuts
with the Phantoms last season will be appearing
in the camp including: Joonas Lehtivouri, Shane
Harper, Marc-Andre Bourdon, Ben Holmstrom, Eric
Gustafsson, Kevin Marshall, and goalies Nic Riopel
and Brian Stewart.
Some of the other players in the camp will make
their way to Glens Falls this year while others
will be heading back to juniors. Among those participating
in the camp are 2010 draft picks Michael Chaput,
Tye McGinn, Brendan Ranford, and Ricard Blidstrand;
free agent acquisitions Andrew Rowe and Michael
Testwuide; and goaltenders Sergei Bobrovsky, Adam
Morrison, Nic Riopel and Brian Stewart.

The Phantoms hit the ice Friday, October 1 in a
preseason game against the Albany Devils. Individual
tickets are on sale now for $10 for adults and just
$5 for kids. The regular season Phantoms' Home Opening
Weekend is Friday, October 15 and Saturday October
16 with back to back East Division rivalry games
against Syracuse and Albany.
