The Adirondack Phantoms, proud affiliate of the
Philadelphia Flyers,announced today they will face
the Albany Devils in a pre-season home game Friday,
October 1st at 7:30 pm at the Glens Falls Civic
Center, followed by a visit to Syracuse to face
the Crunch on Sunday, October 3rd at 5:00 pm.
Details regarding a pre-season road game on Saturday,
October 2nd will be announced shortly.
“We are very excited to get the season underway”,
said Mike Thompson, Vice President for the Phantoms.
“These pre-season games are a great way for
our fans to see some familiar faces from last season
and to get to know the new guys on the team, such
as new assistant coach Riley Cote and new Phantoms
players Zac Rinaldo, Greg Moore and Dan Jancevski.”
Seats for the pre-season home game will be on sale
September 10th, and the tickets are available at
the Phantoms office, at the Glens Falls Civic Center
box office and online at TicketMaster.com. Adult
tickets are $10 and all kids 14 and under can attend
the game for only $5. Ticket prices do not include
facility fees and tax. All Phantoms full season
ticket holders receive the pre-season game tickets
as part of their 2010-11 package. Full season ticket
holders will be given details on pre-season ticket
distribution in the coming weeks.
The 2010-11 American Hockey League regular season
will begin on Oct. 8. The complete AHL schedule
will be announced later this month.
In operation since 1936, the AHL continues to
serve as the top development league for all 30 National
Hockey League teams. More than 85 percent of today’s
NHL players are American Hockey League graduates,
and for the ninth year in a row, more than 6 million
fans attended AHL games across North America in
2009-10.
Adirondack Phantoms ticket packages are on sale
now and great seats are still available. The Phantoms
offer a variety of ticket packages – including
3-packs, 6-packs, 12 and 22 select plans, full season
