GLENS FALLS, NY – The Adirondack Phantoms,
proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers,
announced today that the Flyers have reassigned
goaltender Michael-Lee Teslak to Adirondack from
the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.
Teslak, 23, has played in 3 games this year for
Elmira with a 3-0-0 record, a 3.24 goals-against
average and a 0.882 save percentage to help lead
the Jackals to a perfect 5-0-0-0 start. The Fernie,
British Columbia native has played in 11 career
AHL games for the Phantoms over the last two seasons,
posting a 4-5-0 record with a 2.96 goals-against
average and a 0.910 save percentage. He appeared
in one preseason contest with Adirondack, stopping
three-of-five shots through 30:04 of play in the
Phantoms game at Albany on September 26th and he
dressed as the team’s backup goaltender in
the October 3rd season opener against Worcester.
Teslak signed with the Flyers as a free agent on
March 19, 2008.
Next up for the Phantoms is a trip to Ontario as
they will battle the Toronto Marlies on Friday,
October 30th at 7:00 pm at Ricoh Coliseum. Adirondack’s
next home game is scheduled for Sunday, November
1st against the Syracuse Crunch; a 5:00 pm face
off at the Glens Falls Civic Center.
