Cates Recalled to Flyers

Lehigh Valley, PA – The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that forward Jackson Cates has been recalled from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, according the Flyers Director of Hockey Operations and General Manager Chuck Fletcher.

Cates, 24, has played in 19 games with the Phantoms this season scoring two goals with four assists. This is his second recall to Philadelphia but he has yet to appear in any games with the Flyers this season. Last year, Cates played in four games with the Flyers shortly after signing as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

Lehigh Valley is back in action on Friday night at the Hartford Wolf Pack.
The Phantoms are back at PPL Center on Saturday night against the Rochester Americans on Phantoms Ballcap Night presented by Service Electric and also Team Poster Night.
