2008-09: Made the Flyers roster
out of training camp and became the first player
from the state of Alabama to play in the National
Hockey League when he made his NHL debut with the
Flyers on10/11/08 vs. the New York Rangers…Played
his third season with the Phantoms, leading the
team in scoring with 69 points (29 goals, 40 assists)
in 64 games played…Was one of two Phantoms
to play in the 2009 AHL All-Star Classic…Won
the Fastest Skater event in the Skills Competition
and was named the Charter Communications Most Valuable
